Alexander Sims, the guy who's just won the McLaren Autosport BRDC driver of the year 2008. The ironic thing about this young lad is that my lad was his mechanic when Alex was in Karts.

This is a Top Fuel Drag Car on a re-build. The two yellow pipes you see are fuel pipes producing 40 GALLONS of top fuel to the engine in less that 4 seconds for the quarter mile run. Thats 160 GALLONS a mile, thats gallons not litres. These engines are producing 8000 HP compared to a F1 car with 800 HP. To watch these cars on a run is totally mind numbing. To stand near the start line is an experienced not to be missed. Your fillings will fall out, your eyes rattle in their sockets and your bones will feel like they don't exist, any loose fitting clothing will be shed. You will start to feel involuntary convulsions and anyone suffering from incontinence, bowel or heart problems will be aware they've just witnessed one of the greatest spectacles on Earth. Two Top Fuel doing the quarter mile from a standing start in less than 4 seconds. Thats 16000 BHP. these things set off car alarms in the car park half a mile away.
