I am working on my portfolio right now.
I have no idea how to get started….HELP!!

When it comes to modeling, your portfolio serves as your resume and showcases your body of work. Whether you are signed to an agency or are a freelance model, putting together your portfolio is one of the most important aspects of your career. Ask the Arizona Photographer to help you with choosing looks that best fit your personality and the type modeling you wish to pursue.

I totally agree with Davis there.

One of my contacts has told me this, "Lots of people go to open auditions at agencies (They have set days) and then take it from there.. portfolio comes second, but you can go direct to a photographer if you know any and pay for a set if you can afford it.
On the other hand, proper folios cost at least £1000 so I wouldnt suggest to someone who hasn't done any work before to fork out for them. It's terribly expensive if you then dont get any work. Of course you'll have some great pics."
