Which One would you Recommend? |
|
I am hoping to move up to SLR at Christmas, and I a would like a nice beginner SLR to get my Photography in full swing.
I notice Adam that you have a 350D, I was going to buy one for £150 of a member of TP but someone got there first!
So, which cameras would you recommend for me?:
Canon EOS 350D
Canon EOS 400D
Nikon D40
Nikon D40x
Nikon D60
Any one of them would be what I am looking for, as I dont want anything too complicated or anything too expensive

Not got a clue about Nikons, so I can't help you there.
I'd probably go for a 350D, because the 400D doesn't have many improvements, so it's probably a good choice because you can then put that extra money towards lenses. Which can have a bigger affect on the photos than the camera.
Saying that though, the 400D does look good, and with the 450D it's probably going to come down abit. But it depends on how much with all this inflation at the minute.

Yes I agree. I shall wait until christmas time to see how much each of the cameras are worth, becasue they may go down in the Christmas Sales or something, so I could get the Canon EOS 40D!

I am actually thinking of buying a Pentax DSLR, becasue I already have 3 Pentax Mount lenses I use for my Film SLR. It would be so much more convenient and cheaper to buy a Pentax. Possibly the K10D? They are going for around £300 or so at the moment. Only registered users can see links on this forum! Register or Login on forum! |
